The Polish Lance
Very awsome weapon

A remarkable tale of the Battle of Waterloo concerns the discovery of a "strikingly beautiful" mortaly wounded woman (wood carved bust above) dressed in the uniform of a cuirassier officer. The location of her body confirmed that she must have charged with the French cavalry, but who she was and why she was there remains a mystery except the style of her riding boots were distinctively Polish. Guides refer to her as the Female Hussar.
